The Ripon Garden Club was first created in 1954 with the goal of protecting native plants and insects, to encourage civic beauty, and further educate the community about the environment. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit.

Mark your Calendars - September 9th
The date has been set for 26th Annual Ripon Garden Club September Stroll. Is will be September 9th. Tickets will be on sale in August, 2023. Planning is in the early stages. The committee is checking out the neighborhoods. If you have a neighbor whose garden should be on the tour contact Hilda Weston with the name and address.

25th Annual Ripon Garden Club September Garden Tour of six gardens around Ripon for neighbors and friends to stroll through, learn about the plants and meet other garden enthusiasts. Also, of special note we recommend that you stop by the Ripon Garden Club Butterfly Garden in Mavis Stouffer Park, Garden Joy downtown and Ripon Community Garden.
Proceeds from the September Stroll support scholarships provided to graduating high school seniors and community college transfer students in pursuit of an environmental or agricultural focused degree. Funds also support current projects such as Ripon’s downtown flower pots, Garden Therapy, school gardens and education, arbor day activities, Penny Pines and the Blue Star Memorial.

Garden of The Season: In addition to the September Stroll yards are selected as an example of Outstanding Landscape. Garden Club acknowledges residential home landscape that showcase artistic elements of color, contrast and harmony in a cohesive blend of landscape and hard scape. Check out your neighborhood for 'The Garden of Season' signs.
